Over at http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ the theme for this weeks Christmas card is P is for penguins or anything else beginning with P. So for these two cards I focused on one of my favourite parts of Christmas dinner the pudding.
Again the cards are part of my charity recycling project and have been made from pre loved Christmas cards donated by work colleagues with the addition of some freebie backing papers.
For the first card I just cut the image of the pudding from the card front and added stickles on the 'brandy sauce' and the darker areas of the pudding.
For the second I coated the brandy sauce with pearlised paint and added red gems to the holly. This one fits the letter P on a couple of counts as I figure that P is also for paws and the teddy has paws.
I am entering these two cards into the following challenges
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ - P is for Penguin or anything else beginning with P
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/ - Anything goes so long as it's Christmas
I love both cards, but my favourite is the teddy with the pudding - thanks for entering both of my CHNC challenges with this lovely card x
ReplyDeleteBoth are nice cards. The teddy ones is my favorite too. Thanks for joining at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas extra challenge this month.
